My mom has been waiting for 13 hours. I’m literally sitting in the parking lot right now on 5/25/22 waiting to take her home. She came in with pain and was given a CT scan 2 hours ago and we are still waiting for the results. She’s been sitting on a gurney in the hallway all day. She came at the advice of her Dr and we know nothing about her condition. There is a serious flaw in how this Emergency Room functions. The system has failed us and I hope no one in my family has to ever come back here again.

Longest wait outside ever and I was so sick I ended up in the hospital for a week. They made me sit outside with no help or doctor for 2 hrs. I literally almost died and they just told me to sit outside and wait. Returned for a second time informed them or what happened last time and I have now been sitting outside with no care for 3 hrs again. No one has been helped. 20+ people waiting for hours and none have been taken in. They are not trying at all. Longest wait times ever with very lame staff that would rather hang out and chat them work. The er should be quick and responsive not 3 hrs before u even check on someone

The staff is always nice and helpful. Appointment times can run late but that's more a sign of good care. When you are with your doctor it never feels rushed.

This place is in serious need of new management!!! I'm in the medical field for over 30 years and I've seen my share of ERs and this system is broken. Starting with a very small waiting room, Tiny triage room, horrible chairs in half of the waiting room. Reception set up is disfunctional, a huge plate of glass extending almost to the counter with no speaking hole or amplifier. You can't hear anything the receptionist is asking or saying. The acoustics of the room are terrible and the noise level awful as a result. There is SO much wrong here, it's hard to know where to start. I went in at the advice of my doctor and really wished I'd stayed home! In the first four hours I was called back three separate times for a few minutes if treatment by various staff. Not one of them a physician and not one of them gave me ANY information about my condition. No one said what was happening or what would happen next or what time frame we might be in for. No one checked on me, no offer of a blanket, no water, no updates, just house and hours of sitting in horribly uncomfortable chairs surrounded by sick people in various levels of pain who were also feeling endlessly and entirely ignored. The staff that I had brief interaction with was okay, one of them friendly. The same people are sitting here since I arrived and all look disgusted with this process. Two women have come out of the back treatment area cussing and very upset with their poor treatment. They weren't together. It seems like maybe there's only one doctor treating everyone who is lucky enough to get past the waiting room?!?. I would do everything I could to not come back to this location!!! Including going out of my insurance plan. All that said, I have several Sutter physicians who I get great care from, so it's the ER that will make you sick. So, after 6 1/2 hours I'm finally out of the ER, my finishing comments are that I had a nice RN and a doctor who had good beside manner, a sense of humor and appropriate concern for my well being. I appreciated the care I received and think the problem is not enough caregivers for the number of patients! SO happy to be out of there!!! Good parking at least.
