The music and the ambiance in this Catholic church was great. The priest was funny. Parking for the Saturday 5pm mass was not an issue. There are plenty of parking spots. The mass finished in less than 1 hour. This church is conveniently located nearby the Westfield Santa Anita mall.

5 of us attended Catholic School here. One M.D. One Nurse, a CPA a Real Estate Agent, and a Meat Manager. We turned out all right. Guess our grammar school training was okay. A son attended as well. Right Reverend Monsignor Gerald M. O'Keefe was the pastor then, and he built the extension on the North end of the Church. They only pick the finest Priests for this Parish and it has always been a cut above the rest. This week we will attend the memorial for my Mother there, and years ago, during racing season we could hear them call out the races on the public address system across the way. Great memories.

Have been attending mass here and a member of the community for almost 20 years. 2 of my 3 babies were baptized and all three of them as well as myself made the Most Blessed Sacrament of First Holy Communion. Father Michael Evans has been a holy conduit in our family and an amazingly inspirational figure in our faith. God Bless!

I grew up in this church; used to take up the Gifts with my mom and that was so special. It is a much more classy and well-thought -out decor. I know we go to worship our Lord and Savior, but there's nothing wrong with preferring one church above all others, and THIS IS THE ONE FOR ME! I had my first communion there, my confirmation, religious classes, and even went on a retreat with the youth group. I have nothing but positive memories about Holy Angels Catholic Church! Amen!

Hi Ruth, the main purpose to bless a St. Peregrine medal is to set it apart for Holy use. Wirthout a blessing, the medal is just jewelry, with a blessing, the medal will be a holy medal.
