Great pool with stunning mountain views but as a regular visitor to Palm Springs I am disappointed and shocked at the $15 entry fee. Seems to be just a money grab. Here’s hoping for a price change!

I’ve been swimming laps here for 35 years!!!! It’s a beautiful serene place, and I’m getting ready to buy my summer pass soon!!!!

The pool location and facility itself I would give 5 stars, but like many others here have noted, the new non-resident rate is absolutely ridiculous. $15 for one swim is very unfair (especially when it used to be $5). I like to swim daily, and I've come here for years and always appreciated how accessible this pool was, but now I cannot justify going to this pool regularly. Out of principle, I find myself driving 20 minutes to Palm Desert YMCA, but overall, I have less of a desire to come to Palm Springs since the $15 price doesn't exactly say "welcome to Palm Springs" to non-resident visitors who also like to stay fit in the pool.

I actually had a great time in this pool. Great pool with lots of lanes that have just enough space to swim. Beautiful backgrounds of the mountains. The downside is that it closes at 3pm which is ridiculous.

$15 for out of town visitors...just to swim
During the summer, it's quite cold in the water despite the heat outside. Hope this helps
I think if not yearly they do have some type of passes. I travel a lot therefore for me paying the resident rate of $4.00 per visit is fine
The lanes during the week are set to 25m. On the weekends I believe they set it up for 50m.
I think so from what i remember
That's correct, however 7-11 is for laps only. Public freeplay swim is only 11-5
I'm not sure of the answer to either question. I've always assumed resident meant Palm Springs since we pay the taxes to provide the pool, but again I don't know for sure. Give the center a call. The staff should be able to answer all your questions
$4 for locals and $5 for non local.
No, but not h heavy chlorinated. The several times I have swam, I was not concerned about the level of chlorination.
