Management still refuses to reimburse me for my expenses when a hot water pipe burst on 4/11/2020 and my entire apartment was flooded, then rapidly covered in mold. Hazmat had to destroy all my clothes and linens due to them being contaminated. I lived in hotels for over 1 1/2+ years at my expense, only to return to a building that had not been treaded for mold (where the mold originated), only the apartment was treated. So, the mold returned as it is in all of the apartments and throughout the building itself. I love the people who live here! Management's ethics, not so much! People get sick and numerous have died from the conditions I've been told. Management won't even call 911 when someone falls in front of the office or is ill. We had a fire last spring in building #1, 4 units were badly burned, 8 in total uninhabitable. When the family of an elderly, drunken man with a broken leg in the SAME build. who could not be removed, a resident contacted his family, who in turn called the manager and was told, "Don't worry about him, it's not HIS building." IT WAS! He could have been asphyxiated, and management would not have cared because they had served him with several notices anyway. They thought no one would know. Now you do. Don't expect management to lift a hand to help you if you're in crisis because they won't. They will never call 911 for you or try to contact your relatives. She "will not get involved" is her famous quote. Oh, FYI, the new maintenance man, José, is AMAZING! It's too bad they won't let him buy the $40. installation kit that comes with the security doors (they charge us +3x the price @ Lowes or Home Depot for the door anyway). There is a 1-2" gap all around where numerous critters crawl into your home! Neither is the door "secure", it can be opened with a wire since it was improperly installed! Not safe or secure! See photos of locked "security door." The white around the door is the gap/daylight showing in.🤔🥺😢

Our maintenance person Jose is a plus to our residents. He is a very dependable employee, he will fix a problem in an apartment and it is done correctly and will not have to come back for that problem. He has a great personality and all the residents really like him. He makes sure that he notifies the resident when he will be able to be at their apartment to do what is needed. He takes his job very serious and does what has to done in a timely manner.
