I attend meetings here and am truly satisfied at how welcome I feel coming here. I'm grateful that there are many meetings held here.

All covid precautions were well taken care of while still having an awesome meeting outside...thank you north county alano club for your continued service to the alcoholic community

Meeting experience is good, but if you're primarily an NA member just trying to catch a meeting here it's best to just not mention the drugs. I just turned heroin into "whiskey" and meth into "vodka" as well as substituting "drinking" for using. It's kind of a hassle, but less so than getting an earful from the senior members whose lives revolve around AA - creating a situation in which they care more about technicalities in the wording of the big book than helping people with a problem that, let's face it, is the exact same thing. Oh, by the way, their attached kitchen sure beats the watery coffee and grocery store cookies that are common at any other 12 step meeting.
