We stayed two nights, our room was nice but did need some TLC. Bed was comfortable. Inn was convenient for sightseeing the area and finding trails to walk. The property also has a trail you can walk. Everyone was friendly. The food was good. We enjoyed dinner one evening and breakfast (breakfast included in stay). We would stay again.

We spend 3 nights with several other families for a reunion. This place is truly special and the property (esp the view out the back) was stunning. We enjoyed hiking on the property with our kids, doing the Inn's scavenger hunt, and having s'mores by the firepit. Montpelier (James Madison's home) and Monticello (Jefferson's home) are a 20 and 45 min drive respectively. Lots of horse farms around too and horseback riding opportunities. The staff is fantastic and we ate a fabulous hot breakfast and a home cooked dinner at the Inn each day! We will definitely be back!

Soon as you pull up the long driveway you feel like your going back in time. Everyone that works there acts like your family right from the start. They always ask can we get you anything which is also nice. We brought our 2 dogs which didn't want to leave they loved it so much. A trail right on the property with a stream for swimming and clean enough to drink. Food was great we even joined in on there Easter cookout which we met plenty of good people. Highly recommended we also went to the Shenandoah National Park which is only an hr away which was amazing. Oh and I almost forgot the view from the backyard here is breathtaking!!!

I stayed around Christmas time 2021 with my wife of 30 years. I never thought I would get a Christmas again to see children's smile from the excitement of the day again. The couple that stays there made not just my wife and I feel like we were part of there family but others as well. My wife teared up with joy and sadness when we left. When you stay here of course things aren't perfect what is? When I left the inn I truly felt happy. The children were wonderful and it's truly one of the last real places that are true bed and breakfasts. P.S. The food was remarkable!

That i do not know to be certain. However dinner is available to people who aren't guests. The Chef is OUTSTANDING! I hope you get a chance to sample his menu.
Absolutely! We love animals at Meander, and many of our guests have fallen in love with our property alongside their dogs.
