This course was amazing. My wife and I played here for the first time and we had a blast. The staff was great, the views were steller and the price was worth every penny and more. Would def come back here

We checked in after a round of golf on a hot day. No hot or cold water in the bathroom. When I asked the front desk staff she said she doesn't know when it's gonna be fixed. Keep asking to go to the pool to get shower instead. She did not apologize for it. Was so upset because her attitude did not even say sorry once. Argued and get a refund. They ruined our long weekend vacation completely. Staying in a hotel room without shower after golf rounding? OMG!!!

Pretty gross room for the price. Stains everywhere including on the wall and in the fridge. Rooms could use updating. Wireless internet was unreliable. Wouldn't recommend or stay here again. Pretty disappointing overall.

The course is a 4/5. Greens in great shape, very fast. Fairways better than expected with the amount of rain and lack of drainage. Everything else has fallen downhill. It was never 5 star but it was a great place to play some golf, hang out at the lodge. Now, after just going this month, hot tub...broken, half way house....closed (we heard it may be condemned), rooms...showing their age. Biggest issue was the lodge service. We do a package and we always tip, however now, they drop a bill on the table (for a paid package meal) and include a 20% tip. Now we were served buffet style, that is all, 9 people, $315 then reduced to $0 for package, then over $60 in tip required . Nobody comes around for drink orders (not 1), no coffee service (you get your own), anything, so what am I tipping you 20% for? Driving range...closed on Friday until 1:30pm, because they needed to cut the grass. That's a Monday job when nobody is there, not a Friday morning job when the bulk of guests arrive. Front desk closed at midnight, nobody there from Midnight to 7 or 7:30am. In a place with very little cell service, that makes me a little nervous. A bunch of us were in one of the event rooms playing cards, pool, ping pong and at 11:30 a security guy comes in and says he is locking doors to lodge at midnight, not we are closing at midnight, "I am locking the doors". At 11:45 he turned the lights off on us, when I asked him to turn on so we can wrap up (15 minutes still to midnight). 11:52 comes in again saying he is locking doors at midnight and will call the state police. Nobody argued with him, that was his tone from first time he "greeted" us. No cart service on the course. In years past, there was cart service driving around the course, no longer. You would figure with no halfway house, a cart service would come. No. A gentleman driving a cart with 2 coolers on the back never stopped, he had nothing in them for people, my guess is he was more like a ranger. Never said hello, just would drive around. The rooms, while fairly large are very standard with small TV's, old bathrooms (our tub was showing wear on the foot treads like it was getting pretty thin), old curtains that are getting worn. Towels were left at our door wrapped in a thin bag. One of the front desk people during our stay was very nice and friendly, same for most of the wait staff, the other front desk person was a little cold and not very inviting. Rick, the starter and cart guy is the man, always helpful, always pleasant and the earliest person there it seems, does a mean karaoke as well. So overall, as much as the course is in pretty great shape, the views are amazing, the "resort" is failing at things it used to do better.
