A very nice place for a picnic or a walk . Great playgrounds and ball fields as well. Well maintained . Several concern thst need to be addressed by the mgmt. Got to chase away of remove most of the Geese . They make a mess and the fishing pond is turning in to a cesspool. The park roads definitely need speed bumps. Too many careless speeders in a park filled with children . Protect our kids will you . The three play ground must have shade. Tall Maple or Oaks on the western side of the playgrounds is essential for an enjoyable summer playtime activity. The park lacks this essential natural protection. There is a large quantity of poison Ivy adjacent to the center playground and should be removed . Otherwise it is a well maintained park worth a visit .

I went to this place on June to attend a picnic event organized by Nepalese community of northern Virginia. Location is really very peaceful, perfectly managed playground like diamonds, football ground volleyball courts. They have good shelters, lakes, enough parking spaces , playground for kids. I recommend this place for people who are looking for peaceful and beautiful places for program and events.

What a beautiful park... Well maintained, plenty of parking, soccer fields, base ball field, spacious camp sites facing water bodies, paved sidewalks with several trash bins and more...

Possibly from a sloppy fisherman. Duck can fly, so it's not positive it happened at the park.
I'll ask the park Ranger. Alright, I asked him when they stock the trout pond and he said usually around May, but depends on the weather. The trout pond is open only to 12 and under till around July, then it's open to all. Remember to have your fishing license, cause wardens do stop by. Always better to be safe rather than sorry.
