This is on the Air Force base. Very welcoming to all. Relaxed atmosphere in all the services. There's usually fellowship after each service but a major needed remodel of the common rooms is going on for a couple months. Check out the FB page for updates and scheduled events.

Many years ago, in the land of Idaho, I was assigned to the base and enjoyed the assignment. At the time I was assigned to the Field Maintenance Squadron, and got involved in crash recovery. Along with my stat at Mt Home, I soon was involved at the base chapel with playing the organ. I was surprised when I was asked to play at the catholic church in towm A great time was enjoyed at the Midnight Mass, Wonderful service for everyone. I have enjoye playing the organ at all of the bases that I traveled to. A memorable occasion, was midnight Mass, at Christmas, somewhere in Vietnam. Eight priests and Archbishop Cook was the presider for this special Mass for Christmas. Eleven priests from several services concelebrated. What a blessed time for all, with thirteen hundred in attendance. Held in the base theatre. I also taught the Altar Servers at the base chapel. God bless everyone at Mt. Home AFB, Idaho. Many good memories.
