Ellis lake

This was a nice lake years ago. Now it has 8 feet of dirty garbage around the edges of the lake. A dumped car with it grill showing is near the walking path inside the lake! No city or county maintenance! Now it's a dump site!

I stopped for a quick stretch break. I didn't see any trash laying around. No graffiti. I didn't hear any screaming kids left unattended. Some homeless. It was a pleasant stretch break.

A beautiful walk and a common fishing spot, Ellis lake is worth a visit if your in town. However, there is not wildlife veterinarian in this area so the animals are not monitored for health. Because of the fishing, many of the birds have lines stuck on them. We followed one which appeared to have its led tied to it, but was eventually able to get it loose. Overall a great experience.

Nice to take the dogs for a walk, but lots of shady people around this area.
