I go to the farmers market in Little Italy since I live and little Italy. I have always purchased their hummus and have always loved it. I decided to try their pickled cucumbers and beets, and I asked the representative if they were salty since I am a senior citizen with hereditary high blood pressure. I purchased both of these items since the representative informed me they were not salty; but after only one bite, I could feel my heart accelerating. The misleading information by the rep was incorrect but was also damaging to my health. I specifically had asked him and told him that I could not tolerate salt. I was going to return the products; however, when I returned home, the farmers market had already closed. I feel that I should be refunded for these two horrible salty products and the misinformation that the representative gave me. Please do not try the pickled cucumbers or beets unless you love salt. The hummus, the dips, the pita is all EXCELLENT. I purchased the pita chips, pita bread and roasted garlic hummus, avocado hummus, and red pepper hummus. You really can't go wrong. Service however was horrible. This is in lancaster, I don't know the mans name but he had an awful jerk attitude. Did not greet us, complained about "losing $150 dollars if he opened any of the hummus to try because then everyone would want to try everything" I still buy from Mr. ugly, and he gets upset that I am paying with card. The customer next to me pays with cash and he doesn't have any change for them without having to ask his neighbor vendor. Cmon! Be more personable, be ready to sell, check your attitude and bad customer service .

I’m arab. This was THE BEST hummus and dips that I have ever had. And I’ve had dips and spreads in Jordan and Palestine themselves. I’m here in Cali on vacation from the east coast and I haven’t found a place that matches them. I tried their samples at the Little Italy market in San Diego. I wish they were in the DC area. Truly. So delicious.

Just bought Chipotle black bean hummus, cilantro hummus and pita chips at the farmers market and they are amazing.
