Absolute worst customer service experience I have EVER had. Rented a truck at 2pm for a few hours, the representative (Christin Dessa) advised the office would be closed but I could still return the truck by 7pm and drop the keys in the box. I came back at 5:15pm the same day and the gates were locked along with my personal vehicle inside. I called all phone numbers spoke with several people who attempted to get a manager onsite, and nobody could help. The resolution? Nothing we can do about it, come back tomorrow. Keep the truck overnight. I’m moving I have things to do and I need my car. PLUS, I have work the next day and need my car. I come back today, tell the manager onsite (Garett Laws) what happened. His response? Sorry about that nothing we can do. And has the audacity to charge me extra for going over the miles when I returned it with LESS miles than I paid for the day before. Once, again claims it’s not his problem and I have to pay for the charges and take my issue up with the U-haul call center. It wasn’t U-Hauls fault that YOUR gates were locked. YOUR location made the mistake and are trying to dump it off on someone else and could care less about your customer. I was unable to drive to work today and lost a full days pay. But let’s make sure you charge me for the extra miles right? This place is a joke. I will never use this place again and will be sure to inform anyone in Eastvale about their service.
