We've camped here in the Fall and Spring. The lake is well kept, as is the campground. We took our granddaughter this trip and she had a great time. Shower is located in store, which was closed, but the bathrooms in the campground were open and are clean.

Beautiful place. Got a nice walking trail and the fishing in optimal weather conditions is excellent. The quality of the fish is outstanding. I haven't caught any big bass, but I have seen some MONSTERS swimming close to the bank multiple times. Catfish are nice and healthy, and the shellcracker and bluegill are also getting pretty big, and they put up some good fights, and they have some real pretty coloration to them. The lake is very well maintained, it's good and clean, no trash liters the ground, and the water is good and clean too. Best part of it is, it's only about 3 miles from me. Steve and the fellas there have done a great job in providing us a great place to spend some time outdoors.

Yes, plenty of trees and shelters.
I do believe it's $4 to launch a boat and $7 for a daily fishing permit. They also rent flat bottom boats with a trolling motor for a very good price of $30. It is a stock Lake with a very large variety of fish as well as attractant areas throughout the lake
They're open every day except Wednesday and they close the gate at sunset (7:45pm as of 5/27/18
