We came in May and stayed 8 days and we loved it so much, we came back in July for the grand opening and stayed three weeks. If you want peace and tranquillity this is the place to come. It is a members only campground which we really like because we are all like minded. There are trails, creeks, and rivers to see and a lot of nature, and many attractions nearby. John and Mercedes’ did a great job of fixing this hidden gem up along with many others.

We've just spent a relaxing weekend at Thunder Canyon Campground. The campground is beautiful! There are hiking trails, a mountain stream, and a fishing pond. They've got several shady, wooded camp sites with full hookups, including 30/50 amps and WiFi (our site overlooked part of the canyon and river).They're working hard to add tent sites and additional RV sites, too. This is a member's only campground (very affordable membership tiers) and everyone has been super nice and helpful to us newbies. We'll definitely be back!

We spent Memorial Day Weekend here, it is a beautiful place. We can’t say enough great things about it, Mercedes and John and the crew there are outstanding. They have done so much work to make this place what it is. I can say if you go, you will not regret it. It is a members only campground and that is part of what makes it so great. You are with like minded people who have the same vision, purpose, and values. Thank you all for a fantastic weekend. We spent one week at Thunder Canyon Campground in early spring everyone was busy transforming the campground. We took long walks down by the creek it’s very relaxing and calming. John, Mercedes and Sage took us on a tour of the park in a side by side it was beautiful. Later in the week we enjoyed sitting around a fire pit and roasting marshmallows. We can’t wait to go back and see all the new friends we made on this trip.
