I mostly go here for the Banfield Pet Hospital inside (they are great!) but my pup-pup always gets to pick a toy or treat on the way out. There are so many options that are very well priced, she and I always feel good after that purchase 😊

I've been bringing my dog Mac to pet smart for over a yr and always give $20 tip for good service. I am also physically disabled. Today walk- ins were taken ahead of me. It was painful literally to stand waiting invisible nearly 30 minutes past my appointment time. I'm taking my business across town to petco.....I'm extremely upset. After coming home I received txt that my dogs appointment was canceled at 1:30pm I did not have a appointment at that time. After speaking to supervisor about the issues , I was told that I don't bring my dog in often. NO BC I AM PHYSICALLY DISABLED WHAT About that do they not understand. Told supervisor that doesn't matter . Wow. I've already set my dog up with another groomer ..

Grooming services have been bad for my pet, he always has flakes on his coat a day after grooming and usually within a week of grooming here he has a skin flare up or yeast or infection that the vet cannot diagnose properly but charges me hundreds to treat. I also have had very little satisfaction with products purchased here and have had to do so many returns that I'm exhausted and beyond frustrated. So far buying food is the only thing that hasn't been a disappointment, but I can buy pet food other places, so why even do business with this store?

The staff is always helpful! We have a picky eater that took us a few tries to figure out what she would actually eat. The staff patiently and courteously help us through a few bags of food! We also do our grooming every other month always wonderful and caring. Great customer service !!

Is there a certain reason pet stores carry only certain products and who do YOU CONTACT TO CHANGE THIS,I KNOW ALOT OF HEALTHIER PRODUCTS HAVE BEEN TURNED AWAY BY "CHOICE REASONS".These reasons are our pets that look to us for acknowledgement and compassion so how come the same brands over and over????Self representation should be the only starting option,So thank you for reminding me I worked there!Compassion hearts!!!
Try the front street shelter or the spca for small dog adoptions of all breeds, or you can look into private party animals for small breeds which usually are going to be charging a re-homing fee. Check on social media.

They don't sell dogs here. Go through a rescue or certified breeder. Pugs have horrible nasal issues by the way, so get ready for some $$$ bills in your future.

PetSmart doesn't sell dogs. They partner with rescue organizations and have a Pet day in their premises. They do offer however, dog training. Staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. You may want to check your local PetSmart store for their calendar of events when they may have the next Adoption Day. Please don't buy, adopt. Another option is checking your local animal shelter. Hope this helps and you are able to give a forever home to a pet in need.
