Been here maybe 3 times in 3 weeks. Fresh bread, incredible smoked meats, Cole slaw was just like it was made minutes ago as it’s so crisp. Baked beans so delicious you thought you were eating a families secret recipe!! The staff is awesome. Julie was our person and like so many here, very nice and fun person to chat with as we enjoyed our meal.

Ordered sliced pork, was brought pulled pork instead. I don't have it often, but instead of sending it back thought I'd try it. It looked like it was mush, that was sitting in a vat for a couple days, tastes about the same. Ate half of the sandwich and have up. Fries were great as usual, fried Okra was very good as well as the ranch. Service was pretty good.

Very good food and ambiance. However, the staff is a bit dense and could be more attentive to the customer when seating them. Group orders: Cuban, tots, fries, and pulled pork sandwiches. Every bit was consumed, it was savory and moist without the BBQ I would really recommend it!

The cook has been lacking. I have ordered 3 times from this restaurant. The first time I ordered was through the drive-thru. When I tell you that food was sooo smackin’ good. Everything was tender, and fresh. The last two times I placed call in orders and received the worst food an establishment can ever serve out. The ribs taste as if they’ve been sitting out all day or even from the day prior. They’re dry, hard, crusty, and contains no edible meat… very burnt. I didn’t come here to eat only sides. I ordered a third time because I assumed maybe I got a bad cook that day. Well, now, I don’t know if it’s the drive-thru that gets the fresh orders or the cook, but this is not okay. I can’t keep receiving ribs that are hard and contain no edible meat and dry cornbread. Please do better on the call in orders or on the food in general. I can’t be the only one receiving bony, hard ribs.

I think you could park along the street side just east. Near entrance to Don Gartlets Museum
You should call ahead to see if they have outside seating & if dogs are allowed.
