Beautiful park, unfortunately there were 2 gators with fishing line wrapped around their mouths. 1 with a lure intact

Gorgeous and peaceful. It's basically a long crooked pier on the edge of a sizable pond with small pavilions and benches along the way. I saw dragonflies, birds, tiny fish, turtles and even an alligator. Good place for a stroll or a jog.

This is a nice walk with much to see. Many little critters if you look close. As you can see this was taken when it was warmer. But just as nice in cooler weather.

A nice community park with a boardwalk through the pond you will see a lot of turtles and gators and it's clean and safe as it's directly behind the great Citrus county sheriff's office. Have a good day and see wildlife up close.

The turtles are all in the water. Along with several alligators. It would be a bad decision to try it.
Yes on a leash and as long as you clean up after them.
I have taken all ages there and they love it. A toddler does need a constant eye.
Yes. All lakes in Florida require license unless it is a privately owned pay for the right to fish lake.
