Growing up when ever I had a occasion to get dressed up we always went to JCPenneys to get our outfits. Now my son is getting married and again it's time to look good for a very special occasion. I was however very disappointed. Not with the Quality of merchandise but with the lack of sales staff. It's surely not like it used to be when you went to the men's department at JCPenneys a sales staff member would help you with everything you need. Now they hang a tape measure on a hook with directions for do it yourself..! Everything is do it yourself even self checkouts. Its just sad that the whole shopping experience that I remember is gone. Maybe I'll just rent a tuxedo

I don't like giving out one stars to no one but, this was well deserved First off, let me say that I've always had a good experience with J. C. Penny up until this point. The first time I went in they were so nice to me and I brought a Figaro bracelet for my husband's birthday. The second time I went in to get the bracelet resized and I had my Chinese husband with me and my service animal. The service at this point, changed drastically and they treated me horribly making only negative statements and never even saying happy birthday to my husband. No offense, but they were older white women and they had the worst attitude of any person I had ever seen for customer service. JCPenney should be sued for the way they treated us. I hope this review serves its purpose! 😊

One of the lady from the jewelry department that has been there for almost 12 years her Name is Paula, she is so nice that I went there once for a watch she has been so nice I went back to purchase another wedding ring set for me and my wife since the original one was stolen. I couldn't give a 5 stars due that tall middle age cashier lady that always give me attitudes whenever I have to pay for my items.

JC Penny, including this location, used to be a great place to pick up reasonably priced clothes. No longer. This store has been spiraling toward oblivion for several years now. Perhaps that is because of the shifting economic realities, maybe it's because of how the company does business. I do not know. What I do know is that the men's department is poorly stocked and over priced. Suit jackets and blazers are available in tiny sizes only with maybe 10 (total) in sizes of 48R and up. The jackets they do have are not terribly stylish, but are priced as if they were. Dress shirts seem to be restricted in sizes also. I hope you have a 15.5" neck and short arms. Regardless, the prices are not competitive (unless you sign up for a JC Penny credit card! No thanks.) Casual wear is limited as well. The clearance section seems to be limited to rack after rack of sweat pants. No deals there. I will say that the store is extremely well staffed. As in, every 10' there is another clerk wanting to talk to you. Here's hoping that JC Penny survives. If this store is representative of the company as a whole, they've got some work to do.
