Staff (Crystal, Tiara, and Brielle) have been super nice and helpful with the leasing process. Response to repair requests have also been fast! Pros: - Despite the density of neighborhood, it's surprisingly peaceful and minimal noise from surrounding neighbors. - The apartments look very nice and you have relatively new appliances. - There's also business area/co-work office you can book (like a conference room). - Accessibility is also not a problem, there are multiple elevator/staircases/ramps to get to the exits/parking. This also makes it easier (and cheaper) for furniture deliveries since the elevators are also quite large (they were able to fit a 100in long sofa!) - There is also a bus terminal/train station across the street which makes it easier to commute. - Close to the schools, malls, groceries, furniture stores, and restaurants so you don't really have to travel far. Almost everything is within 3 miles. Cons: - It's not really a con of the property management but some tenants have no discipline at all. They would leave litter in the parking area or sometimes in the hallway. It gets cleaned by the property's cleaning services but it'd be nice if the other tenants took care of the property as well.

I am current resident to the apartment. The cooking odor in the apartment complex is almost unbearable from others cooking. There's no navigation in the garage and no signs to show the exit. It could takes someone newish 15mins to navigate out of the garage... Add 3 star to recognize the quick response from the property management team. They do address your concerns and try to improve as much as they could, however there's only that much you could do.

Writing this review after living at Capitol 650 for about 10 months. PROS: -Nice amenities. Beautiful pool, big gym for an apartment, 2 lounges, private offices -Units are fairly new and well-maintained. Appliances inside are nice; I love our gas stove in particular. -Convenient location. Walking distance from BART, VTA, and the great mall. CONS: -The building isn’t as secure as you might think given that it’s gated. I’ve seen homeless people inside the building on several occasions, including an instance where they kicked out a man who was holed up in one of the community bathrooms. Additionally, we had 2 packages w/ electronics stolen after they were delivered to the “secure” mailroom. More on that below. -For a while, there were not enough Amazon package lockers to handle the volume of residents’ packages. This led to many packages being left out in the mailroom when the lockers were full. Even though a key is required to access the mailroom, myself and other residents had problems with stolen packages. To the building’s credit, a month ago they added Luxer package “lockers.” It’s basically a closet inside the mailroom; not individual lockers. Luxer sends an access code for the room when you have a package, but once you’re inside, there are multiple packages lying around. It’s not a perfect solution, but I commend them for the effort. Also they have been better about bringing unattended packages into the leasing office recently. -There is not nearly enough guest parking. It fills up fast, especially on weekends. -There are 4 elevators, and sometimes there is a long wait for them. There is a set of stairs near the south elevator, but it only goes from the garage to street level. The stairs that go to all floors are located on the other side of the building. It’s just an odd design and mildly inconvenient. -Cell service (I have AT&T) in this area is poor, but it is nonexistent inside the building. Not sure why, but I get zero bars inside the building. In summary: There are enough issues that make me feel like the experience of living here doesn’t measure up to the “luxury apt complex” image that they portray.

Great staff, best-of-breed amenities and proximity to all major locations make Capitol 650 one of the best properties in Milpitas. It is fittingly on its way to becoming the most sought-after property in days to come. Highly recommend this place.
