Good place to recharge your water bottle. Continue West and you will connect with the 205 trail eventually. Continue East and soon you will be able to connect with the Fairview-Gresham trail and head North, there is a food cart pod along the way on Burnside. Keep going all the way East and you will reach Gresham, after Gresham you can make your way to Highway 26 and reach Sandy. If you stay on the Springwater Trail then farther East is Boring.

Pretty cool little trailhead. It serves the Springwater trail about 5 miles east of I205 and about 7 miles westish of Boring (double check for exact distances). Nearby are safeway and Walmart neighborhood market if you need last minute snacks or drinks. The section of trail is beautiful with lots of shade and running along a stream (Johnson Creek i think), particularly to the east. In the evening rabbits and deer can frequently be spotted, for a small dose of adorable wild life. Two miles east is main city park with a small Japanese garden and picnic facilities. There are frequently seen illicit camps just off the trail, but I've never been accosted. Still, would recommend a buddy and only daylight hours. The trail head has a small parking lot, and I've never seen it full, so it does the job. The Trailhead does have bathrooms, but they've been closed and marked closed for the season, most likely due to covid, but I'm not positive. The Walmart nearby has customer restrooms. Enjoy and happy hiking/biking/blading/and other skating.

Nice place to eat a to go dinner while it was still hot and fresh! Unfortunately COVID has the bathrooms closed, would be nice to be ae to wash hands.

Quiet and peaceful. Nobody mooching and the bathroom is decent.
