This is a truly amazing locally-owned pharmacy. They are a pharmacy that actually cares about their customers and their customer's health and they will go to the ends of the Earth to make sure their customer's needs are met. They are incredibly knowledgeable, incredibly helpful and most of all incredibly kind. They are nothing like "modern" pharmacies (Walgreens, CVS, etc.... ). You can't buy potato chips, laundry detergent or deli meat here. They are a pharmacy not a "store". They treat you like a patient not a number. And maybe it's that they don't have to worry about selling cat litter that makes them so great. But I'm pretty sure it's the staff and that their business model is being a true pharmacy.

My wife and I have found the prescription prices at Hixson Pharmacy are frequently lower than any other pharmacy we have tried in our area and never more expensive. In addition, as far as we know, Hixson pharmacy is the only pharmacy that will deliver prescriptions without a delivery charge! In addition, the staff at Hixson Pharmacy genuinely cares about their customers. One recent example was when they did not have what was needed to fill one of my prescriptions. They immediately sent one of their pharmacists out to obtain the necessary items to fill my prescription. The entire staff at Hixson Pharmacy is excellent. They make you feel welcome as soon as you enter the store. In a short time you feel like you have always known them. One becomes very comfortable when shopping there. We have transferred all our prescriptions there and hope to visit there many times for years to come. Wendy and Dean
