Mitch and his family gave us some of the best hospitality my family and myself have ever received. The preserve works like a well-oiled machine and made our stay stress free and focused on our trip. I would highly recommend this place if you are wanting to bring home some hog. Our guide Glen made our hunting experience lively and made overall added to making this experience amazing. I applaud the Kemmer family and friends.

I would highly recommend Spartan Hunting Preserve. When we arrived we met with our guide, Glenn, and he asked us exactly what we were after. The next morning, he put us in the perfect spot and my dad and I both took trophy rams. The hunting blinds are awesome-hard wood floors, insulated, plenty of windows to shoot out of, comfy chair and great shooting rests. Be prepared for some good eating; 3 amazing Southern cooked meals a day. The lodge is spacious and very nice as well. The entire staff is extremely friendly; the owner, Mitch, takes time to get to know each hunter. I will definitely be back

We considered several sites for a hog hunt this year, and chose Spartan. Our decision was based on several factors, including prior reviews and our direct interface with the people we called for information. I was very pleased with our experience. And having hunted hogs elsewhere, and been to other full service hunting facilities, can say with confidence that Spartan is an excellent choice to make. The owner, employees and guides are committed to ensuring that your full experience is the best possible - everything is top-notch: facilities, explanations, food, lodging, ambiance, etc. All facets are enjoyable and taken care of for you. Hog hunting is certainly not among the more challenging of the hunts, so the folks at Spartan ensure that your stay here is complimented with attributes that make your time there a fun experience. Price was also reasonable in comparison to other similar outfits. I’d recommend Spartan to those considering hog hunting and/or just looking for a nice full-service relaxing experience (like a short vacation or extended weekend).
