We love the chain Dickey's. But this particular Dickey's in Mandan North Dakota is absolutely horrible. We have never had a bad experience at the Dickey's in Nebraska. We stood in line for 15 minutes and saw that one person was served. This is a fast-food BBQ joint but not the one in Mandan North Dakota. One woman operates the show Even though there were five people working she was doing it all taking the orders cutting the meat cooking the food disappeared for minutes at a time then come back and try to make sure she had the order straight. I do not recommend this place.

Good food but poor customer service. The lady was rude and rolled her eyes when requesting gluten free. Glad they are educated about dietary restrictions but it was very impolite.

I'm from Florida and I'm used to Bubbalous and 4 Rivers, some smaller ma and pop places but I've been pleasantly surprised by their bbq here! It's the one of the few places that's consistent and the customer service is good also. I recommend (bc I prefer brisket) burnt ends and if you prefer pork, pulled pork is always juicy and seasoned well. I also love their bakers (baked potatoes 🥔 loaded with your choice of meat) and desserts. It's really a solid BBQ place, glad I found it.
