The braids look very nice and I get a lot of compliments on them, but I’ve deducted 2 stars out of 5 because the braids are too tight, and I am fearful of loosing hair. I told the braider that was doing my hair that she was hurting my scalp, and she just apologized, but did not ease up (I guess that’s just the only way she braids). I took 2 braids out in the back, because they were way too tight, but I am leaving the rest of my braids in because I spent way too much money on them to take out so soon. I just pray to God that I don’t loose hair (traction alopecia), I’m thinking that after another week or so, they will loosen more. I’ve been coming to this shop for years, and have had different braiders with no problems (they appear to have new braiders now). Unfortunately, after this experience, I will be looking for a new braid shop (just one braider actually, so it will be the same experience every time).

My son just got braids by Tania and she is excellent! The salon is also really nice and has big parking lot. The other ladies are so nice and welcoming too! I'll definitely be going back! Thanks ladies!

I would caution you to NEVER go to this place. Do not waste your money or time. I went there a couple of weeks ago and had by far one of the worst experiences. The girl that did my hair made the boxes in the bag of my hair a lot bigger than the rest of my braids without telling or asking me and the parts were NOT straight and different sizes (the front row). I went back and forth with the owner who did not appear to understand and informed me that the reason that the boxes were bigger in the back is because I didn’t want my hair “heavy.” I would caution anyone to not come here, there are plenty of talented braiders and Traci is NOT one of them. I hope this saves you from what I went through.
