I stayed here for 3 months in late 2021 / early 2022. I only moved because of business; wish I could have stayed. The manager, Paul, is wonderful, kind, helpful, and available. The owner, also named Paul, is a good, cool, friendly man that cares. They’re doing construction to improve the site, though it’s good as is. There are about 25 lots. No rifff-raff. Folks are neighborly. If you want privacy, you’ll get it. If you want friends, you’ll make ‘em; I sure did. Love you, Driftwood. There’s a wonderful couple staying full time that have decked out their place and make the whole property even more appealing. Ask them or anybody for the shortcut to the peaceful lake front. You do have to know how to get there to find it. It’s a 4 minute walk. Day and night, it’s quiet. When the moon isn’t full, you can see those glorious stars. It’s a 6 minute drive to the gas station, It’s a 10 minute drive to Elliot’s with the beer/wine. It’s a 15 minute drive to the two strips that have Walmarts and restaurants, etc. I recommend the SD Burrito at Valerie’s; grab some habanero sauce if you like spicy. Big Spray Brewing is your cool microbrewery with food; cool owner/operator. Most nights, it’s super quiet, and I’ll miss that the most. Weekend nights, the marriage venue nearby gets loud, and folks love their fireworks on New Year’s; I’d imagine the same for July 4th. They were cool with my well-behaved German Shepard. Pick up the poop, and you’re good. I’ll miss this place and the friends I made.

If you stay any where else in Princeton you are wasting money. The customer service coupled with the well kept park made for a great month long experience while fishing on lake lavon. Will definitely come back every year!

This is one of the best parks I’ve been too! It’s very quiet and welcoming. The maintenance staff is very helpful in connecting my RV.

I've been here for over six months and absolutely love it. The rates are reasonable and Mr. Tucker is a delight to deal with. He is serious about the safety and well-being of everyone here which makes me feel safe. There is a laundromat to save trips into town. I recently lost my dad and this has been the most serene and beautiful place to stay while I regroup and work through my grief.
