This is a fun little stop while in the area. We ate Korean BBQ, then headed over to see the lights. Lots of photo opportunities. Take a minute before you arrive to read the back story on the lamps. You'll appreciate them even more! Enjoy!

This was on my bucket list. I’m so glad I was able to see this in person. The formation of the lights satisfied my OCD.. I love abstract art.. the beauty of free expression. With so much Darkness in life, take me to the lights isn’t a death sentence here. It’s giving vintage beauty. I wish I could’ve gotten night pictures also. The palm trees are a beautiful touch. I’ve seen people pull up and park to take pictures but it’s plenty of meter parking on the streets near by. We visited on a Sunday and didn’t have to pay the meter. The weather was nice and breezy.

LACMA 2nd visit. Could recognize new project and exhibitions. It’s always pleasure to visit there. Urban Lights always make me feel good. Still on going construction. Had dinner at Ray’s in the museum. It’s pricey and foods are so so. Mask is still required in the building. Close at 8pm. It’s enough time even if you are there after 3pm.

Absolutely beautiful! I arrived around 7pm. The lights were breathtaking! Such a sight to see! I paid 25.00 for something that I still don’t know what it was for the lights. I didn’t see a place to check in so I just started shooting. Not sure if you are required or have to make reservations, but I did. ($25) I think you can just pop up without one. You’re really going to love this spot!

It's a great place for Quinceañera pictures. They don't charge for you to take pictures.
Theres a parking structure behind it. I assume they charge. But theres metered parking everywhere and some non metered parking across the street. Otherwise no, theres mo actual charge to see the installment. If you're doing any type of photography or videoography, you cant have tripods ir mono pods, nothing that rests on the ground or on the installments. Selfie sticks seem fine so long as you're not causing a nuisance . Hope that helps.
No idea what you're asking about
Across the road
Yes
They have an underground parking garage. $16 flat rate for all day. $8 after 7pm.
yeah
Possibly waiting for the aftershocks to subside after the earthquake, normally they would be on by 9pm
In the evening after 9 or later and during week days if you want it to be more relaxed and not super full of people as in weekends.
What the kurtis but you can get street parking also of you dont mind a 2 block walk or so
No but you can bring your dogs there and the tar pits are close by. They can play in the grass around that area.
A must visit place Visible from street Always packed with visitors Like a sea of lanterns
