Hold off the salt!! The taste of the seasoning is flavorful but WAY too much salt was added. However, I do appreciate how juicy the meat was. The meat was wonderful and if you could just hold back on the salt and let the natural flavor of the meat come through then bravo. Some reviews here say that the skin is not crispy and to me, there's two reasons to this. The batter is thin if any, which can be good. I do enjoy a thin batter myself as opposed to the bigger chains where the skin is indiscernible from the batter. But that also means the skin gets soft quicker. However, I believe Pollo Campero's issue is that the oil needs to be changed more often. You can taste the "old oil" taste in the skin and it's not fresh. The meat was perfectly cooked so they have the cook time down. There's just these two small changes that needs to happen for Pollo Campero to be THE fried chicken spot in SF.

OK is correct. San Francisco practically lacks parking. And not only in the Mission District, everywhere. But THE MEAL OF CAMPERO CHICKEN AND ITS ... RIPE BANANAS, FRENCH FRIES, RICE, BEANS.ETC, ETC. THEY ARE A DELICIOUS, FRESH FOOD AND I RECOMMEND THEIR SOFT DRINKS, WORTH IT. It is more good to come with someone who drives. You get out of the car and order your food and THE other person keeps looking for the parking lot AND the problem is solved. GOOD THAT'S WHAT I DO. BUT IT'S WORTH IT .... CAMPERO CHICKEN IS A GOOD SNACK ... YOU WILL NOT REPENT.
