I LOVE stopping at the Pecan Shed. They have the nicest people and lots of goodies to eat.

This is a great stop during a road trip. The bathrooms are always clean when I stop by. The entrance can be a little tricky if you have a low writing car but otherwise it's manageable. It is well lit in the evening and there is a small shop associated with it that sells all types of tasty treats including fudge that is made daily. This is a much better alternative to a typical rest stop and is a welcome change to what normally would be a run of the mill average gas station.

Free samples, clean restrooms, lots of cool items - and we had hot, fresh grilled cheese & ham sandwiches - at a very reasonable price. Delicious! They even had sugar-free chocolate covered pecans for my friend!

First time there. Easy to access from the freeway. We purchased a pecan pie and it was good but not impressed, lots of pecans in it but I think that to much for my taste. We also got different variates of fudge and very taste. We got like 6 different types and one was free since we got 5. You can expect more stuff available at the store.
