Positive: The room was nice. Very clean. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Breakfast had a nice verity. And was surprising tasty. Negative: We booked this hotel because they had a pool¿ but when we arrived we were told the pool was closed. If we had known, we would have booked another hotel. The tub and shower could have been bigger. For a king suit, I felt like the shower was small.

Overall, I would give this hotel a 'meh' rating. Nothing to brag about. I've stayed in far worse, but I've stayed in far better for the same or better price. The staff was very friendly and took care of checking us in quickly and efficiently. When we got to our room, the door wouldn't latch shut. Nope not doing this. But as we turned to go to the desk, the door slammed shut and latched. So we just had to slam our door to get it to latch. While sitting in the one chair in our room, I noticed a smell that just wouldn't go away. After looking around a bit, I noticed a pair of dirty socks that perfectly blended into the carpet. Apparently, housekeeping didn't vacuum up against the chair. In the bathroom, there was not a bar of soap. Every hotel leaves a bar of soap. Nope not here. But I did eventually notice ours on the floor between the counter and the wall. Bed was suitable. If you're a stomach sleeper you will get lost and drown in the super fluffy pillows. We were either hot or cold all night. Covers on the bed were 2 sheets and a thin blanket. Honestly, we didn't even bother with the breakfast so no review on that. In the end, I would say you could find better for the same price. Not impressed but it met the need for the night. Friendly staff. Housekeeping and maintenance could do a better, more detailed job.

Positive: Location was good and the speed of check in was okay. Negative: It was obvious that they, like many hotels, are having serious staffing issues. While remodeling was going on it was not a huge factor. Walls are poorly soundproofed - older building with nice facelift. The cleaning was medium at best... hair and dirt.

Very nice staff. Clean room. Comfortable bed. We were there for a dance team competition and they knew our girls got in late after the competition and held the breakfast the next morning later than normal to give the girls a chance to sleep in a bit and still get to eat.
