Poison oak everywhere. Wear pants and leave your dog at home. Otherwise a nice trail.

Plenty of parking, sign at front of trail watch out for rattlesnakes during the warmer days. Poison oak around the trail. Probably better to hike during the winter months.

Yes the trail is dog friendly. Be aware of your surroundings and keep your dog on a leash. My wife and I have had 2 cougar encounters at dusk. Others have reported sightings mid day, but it's not frequent.
