Second time coming to this Hat Creek location in the last week — breakfast earlier this week, lunch today, kids in tow both times. Per usual, limited indoor seating and primarily outdoor seating. Parking area is somewhat limited, tight in places, on a hill, and requires you to walk across the drive thru area to get to the front door. Food is similar quality to other Hat Creeks, with the burgers actually a little more substantial than other locations we’ve been to. Play area is fairly well closed off and viewable from the outdoor seating area located above it. While there is a small artificial grass area, the playground is otherwise covered in wood chips, which I personally am not a fan of, having three kids under 7 — high potential for splinters. All in all, decent spot for food and a place to let the kids play.

Best burger for the price, hands down. If you don't wanna pay 15$ at 5 Guys then I will recommend Hat Creek; just as good (if not better honestly) for less money. Try their fry sauce too; very tasty.

Two stars for the shakes. The burger was flavorless and it was the Sombrero so it was suppose to have a little kick.. Fries were gross. Dining area was disgusting! Nothing had been wiped down in a while. Long enough for ketchup to be petrified on the table. Used some hand wipes to clean it took about 20 to get it where I would even sit down. Won't be going back.

Great establishment tucked away right off Bees Cave Rd and the 360. They provide both indoor and outdoor dining as well as a good sized playground for children. Burgers are a decent size and moderately priced. The attendant was very friendly and definitely a local Texan which is always a plus. I had the Little Hat burger with added cheddar. The burger might have tasted a bit better in my opinion had it been warmer but we went with a group of people and waited until everyone had their food. I'd return perhaps not to this location because of the distance from my home but the experience was great.
