If you have everything submit and see what youre lacking. Call/ email every other day to get updates. Dont even bother expediting any documents, it doesn’t go straight to them, they still wait for the state mailroom to sort it and deliver it to them. For this big state, I strongly recommend two more offices, one in central and of course in Southern California. There are too many people trying to apply for licenses at one office in the Bay area to handle inquiries.

I've called 3 times and every-time after 30-40 minutes of waiting on hold, they immediately just hang up the line without saying a word. I've additionally sent emails and never receive a response. For the amount of money we pay just for the applications this service is absolutely horrendous. Unfortunately we have no option and we have to go through them.

After reading all the reviews, I was a bit worried that I won't have a good experience and would have to wait a few months for a response but I was wrong! I received an email a couple days after applying for my CPT license saying that I'm missing some documents (my transcript was en route so it would take awhile). After they received my transcript, I received an email 3 weeks later saying my application was approved and I finally got my license! Major improvements must have been made in the past year since I had a pleasant experience with LFS.

Let me just start by saying if i could give negative starts... I WOULD! This company is very unprofessional I feel very frustrated. I’m starting to wonder if they even have employees. I’ve sent over 10 emails and never get an answer, I only get random emails of them asking for things that have already been sent and acknowledged receipt by them. To top it off when I call, anyone who answers the phone has no answers to any questions and has no idea what they’re doing. Oh yeah they also loose your paper work and say its in their mailing room and thats why nothing has been processed. But my paperwork has been in the “mailing room” for weeks and I still have no update as to when they are going to start processing my application. I’ve lost my patience, I am upset I didn’t look into this company before because ALL of their reviews are horrible!

There def needs to be multiple field offices, not just one solely in the Bay, esp with a huge population here.
I think we all need to start submitting complaints to ASCP or the better business bureau. This department needs a change.
Yeah good luck I lost my job because they refuse to answer my calls and emails and have neglected to renew my license but they sure cashed my check and took my money!
I drove 2 Hours and went to their Location at 850 Marina Bay Parkway Richmond but was not able to get inside BldgP 1st Floor!Horrible Experience,guard told me to wait 30 Minutes for a Call from CDPH.I waited 5Hours and No Call!These LFS People have no regard and consideration to License Applicants.
