7/23/22: Revising my review after owning for 3 years. Please be aware that Puronics cost of consumables to maintain the system is fairly high. Also, they want to come yearly and charge several hundred $$$ to maintain the unit. 3 years ago review It has been a great experience getting a Puronics system into my new house. The water tends to be hard where I live and leaves a good bit of white residue behind (Ca, Mg) etc. I went through different units out there in the market. Learned that there are 2 types: a) Water conditioners and b) Softeners. I opted for the softeners with salt as the hard water at my house was around 11 grains. I also decided to go with the Reverse Osmosis (RO) unit to get bottled quality water. Prior to choosing Puronics, I checked a ton of places on the Internet and also checked out large wholesale stores and then went to HomeDepot and connected with Puronics through them. From the word go, I had Marissa S. the sales person connect with me and give me an excellent video demonstration. Later, she followed up with answering questions that I came up with on the units that they were selling. The mulitlevel particulate filtering all the way to the chemical removal from the water that Puronics has built into their systems was very impressive. Backed by a lifetime warranty, I knew I could not go wrong. Once I placed my order, the follow up by Carmen B. and their dispatch team was amazing and they worked out the shortest possible time to get someone in to setup the system. Following this, the Tech they sent (John B) was an amazingly knowledgeable person. He gave me a lot of interesting tips about my new house and its plumbing system. During the course of the installation, there was a problem and we had to call in the builder's plumbers. John was extremely patient and worked with the plumbers etc to correct the situation. Glad he caught it or I would not have known. There was no pressure to pay on the the spot. Carmen followed up to check if everything was satisfactory and so did my sales person Marissa. I realized that these guys are serious about their business and customer service and I'd rather be with them than go with someone else. I did check out a water system seller from a very large whole sale store, but was not impressed as he was more interested in the sale and kept telling me how busy their company is. Thanks to the wholesale store that he was representing, he jacked up the price too and I was very dissappointed. Puronics service, delivery, and installation so far has been a 5 star. I hope they keep that way. You can expect to hear from me again regarding my experience with the system.

install had to be rescheduled, due to distance from water main and the need to install a plumbing loop to hook up the softener. The tech dropped off the unit and took a deposit. I ended up cancelling the install, they picked up the unit, but now they wouldn't issue the refund. But they sure are very eager to sell you the product. Edit: updated the review after finally getting the refund. Arya was very helpful and responsive throughout the process.

I purchased a whole house system. Less than a week later, the water softener is leaking (see attached picture). You'd think a leak is an urgent service matter, but apparently, 3 emails and 2 calls are not enough to get anyone's attention. The standard response is "someone will get back to you shortly." Customer service is awful and it appears their product is no better. You can do better than this.

I purchased with the guarantee of free products for 5 years, my products were due to arrive within 30 days. We are almost at 60 days and all I keep hearing is they should arrive any day now. No difference in my skin or hair as was promised I would not need lotion or conditioner after 30 days.

It means you need to have your hygene changed. Call the 800 number and Puronics will send a service tech out
