I'm happy someone took what was such an awesome KC institution and kept it rolling. Great selection. A little on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for. They have good sales also.

The selection at Fareway Meat Market is exceptional. They also have a variety of groceries, so it really is a one-stop-shop. You do have to be a little aggressive to get service at the meat counter. They are usually really busy and if you don’t speak up, you might be waiting for awhile. I’m 5 foot nothing and I wait patiently until an employee asks for the next customer, I throw my arm up and yell out my order. This is key to not being overlooked. Even though they are busy, the staff is incredibly helpful. The jalapeño poppers are so good, but honestly, I’ve never had anything bad from Fareway Meat Market.

This is a great meat market. They have the highest quality meats and have a solid variety of products to choose from. The service is very helpful, knowledgeable and efficient. I will definitely be back.

Awesome place for Lunch on a nice day! Burned end sandwich is the best way to go! Also make sure to hit up the amazing meat counter for dinner! Great family run KC staple, been going for years, 5/5 everytime!

I don't know but you can call them and ask. They're very knowledgeable about what they have in stock.
I don't know what flap steak is so I can't answer you. They are a top notch butcher shop so I'm sure they can accommodate whatever you need
YES I BELIEVE SO NOT FOR SURE JUST CALL AND ASK TO BE SURE
We certainly do! You'll find them in 3lb-4lb slabs on the cold shelves across from the meat counter. If you need something smaller, we do also sell pre-cut kabobs of Pork Belly in the meat counter itself.
I believe so in the frozen section
Like ostrich the 🐦
U have idea b/c I don't eat bunnies ... just ask the butcher!
Yes they do right now. It's seasonal so you're in luck!
I think if you give them a call they can answer you if they can get it in for you
🤔
Unsure
Highly recommend this spot for sure!!! 👍❤
If you're talking about the deli section where the other sliced meats are I believe so
They used to when it was strictly Mcgonigal's. You may just give them a call and see if they are able to do this for you as a specialty item
We did... We've been purchased by an Iowa chain. We close at the end of the week
Hunt starlings, they are more of an Invasive bird and eat pretty much the same grain and probably have better diets than chicken. Squab is expensive 14.99 at at the pan asian market I guess we’ll have to stick with cheap hamburgers for now :(
Probably.
Yes they do
Yes sometimes the "more unique" items are frozen but they have anything you might need and or will get it
Not sure . I go go for beef . But they do have sea food. Give them a call. They are family owned and friendly.
Yes, they do at the butcher counter. But I would call first to be sure they are in stock.
They might also offer to order some for you.
Not sure, but if they do, I bet it's good.
Yes they do
We purchased ours shucked and they came in a plastic container with their natural juices. I think they were good for five days, or so.
I'm sure they have shrimp heads, not sure if they sell them separately.
I don't think so.... But the bbq is soo much better than Gates... Sorry all you old school kc gates fans ... i will put up McGonigles brisket sand against a Gates and guarantee 9 out of 10 people will like it better.... To die for...the only thing I have a problem with is not being able to eat them every single day... Lol
I believe so in their frozen section
I wouldn't be surprised if they did, call and ask them!
I think they do
They will go the extra mile for their customers
This is a special event this weekend, Ribs for Kids, to support fostering kids. They are $15 a slab, ready to eat.
Yes.
Bone out: 3/4 of pound. Bone in: pound and a half.
They sell water for freezing!!
They've been around since 1951 and have absolutely perfected the art of smoking meat in that time. Amazing pulled pork!
