Our favorite trail in Golden. Wonderful walk with so much to see. Stop in for ice cream at the Golden Mill, learn some history at the history museum right along the path, stop into the library to read, borrow a movie, or do some research. Keep walking to pass the ball fields, a sandy area for the kids to play or wade in the creek or if you cross the street you can visit Lions park. If you keep going down the path past the RV park you slip into a quiet oasis of trees, river, and nature.

Tubing is great. Lots of sun and shade. Great places to sit and relax. People watching is #1. Dog friendly!!

Very beautiful! Found by accident...wish I would have been prepared. You can kayak or bring your floating. I seen alot of people walking their dogs (who were wet, so must have spot for dogs to go in)

There are spots for wading but I think you’re on your own for safety.
10 minutes probably. At low water maybe 15. Life vests and helmets highly recommended . At high water it can be dangerous.
Not that im aware of. There are different facilities depending on where you park though that may be willing to help, such as the library.

It's perfect right now! Yes take your kid. There is a rec center but the creek is more fun.
