I'm giving these guys a 3 because the car was clean and the return was exceptional customer service. Pickup was not a good experience. 😕. No one came to walk the car with me. They told me to take pictures if I had issues then gave me the keys..all done at the desk with no waiting line of customers. Is this the usual experience at National? I only used it because it was a company trip. Wouldn't use it for personal rentals. Not impressed.

National has low rates if you have benefits, a code etc . Otherwise, go somewhere else! The customer service was pretty bad. There’s no support, and people are not giving you important information upfront. They basically waste your time because they don’t care about truly helping you. My advice is: be considerate of your costumers, don’t waste their time, be upfront. Put some signs up, if someone can’t pay with debit card, can’t pay online or cash. (Write that somewhere) (on the website, say it via a phone call, at the office, main entrance etc). There’s company out there, that do these things out of respect to their customers. It’s as simple as leaving a note in the front of the office with some tape on it. Update the website. Help new timers. It’s already stressful enough.

From my experience as a corporate to personal purposes, I've come to trust National as my go-to car rental company. Booking was easy and straightforward on their website. Rates were competitive with other car rental companies. Service at pickup was great. All my questions were answered honestly. Can't wait to rent with National again!
