Inconsistent service. Pretty sad that the delivery people they retain satisfy government requirements and expectations. Getting real tired of no answering phones, 3 different mail carriers in one week, and packages not delivered because mail person is lazy and doesn't know how to leave things anywhere but the mailbox. God forbid we dismount to walk 3 feet. I pay for a delivery service to have things delivered, not to have to go to the post office myself. Get it together

Why is the my mail lady signing my name to my children's medicine package without my permission and bragging about it over covid-19. My suggestion is care sanitary gloves for customers to sign there own packages PLEASE AND THANK YOU!!!!

People at main office are nice, but I have been trying to get my mail correctly delivered for close to a year. There is always some excuse for why I constantly get other people's mail, and they get mine. So far the reasons are: 1. The gravel roads are dusty, and the carrier can't see the numbers or names on boxes. ( keep in mind, I live in crystal lakes, and these are locked cluster boxes, with the name and number ONLY visible inside the carrier's portion of the box) 2. Our street name is similar to the other mistaken box. (Right, Lakeside, as opposed to Beach drive) 3. The carrier is a substitute and doesn't know us. Huh, do all postal workers know who lives at each address? Do we have a sub every day, and if so, wouldn't that make them a regular? I see the same girl delivering every day. I have had 6 pieces of mail misdelivered in less than 6 days. I complain, but nothing happens. I've waited for mail that was delivered to someone else, finally arriving VERY LATE. I refuse to put anything in the out box here. It may never arrive. Used to be you could count on the mail. No more. Prices go up, dependability goes down.

I recently had live chicks shipped from California. They were supposed to arrive Wednesday by 3pm. Paid priority express next day with the money back guarantee - the whole shabangdingy. Thursday afternoon rolls around and the shipping says they still haven't left Sacramento, CA. Keeping in mind these are live chicks that will only last a couple days. I went down to the post office to see if I could get any information and let me just tell you Dina and the young man at the front desk were SO nice and helpful. I just assumed post office employees were kind of like DMV employees - relatively grumpy and unhelpful - boy was I wrong (at least at the ES post office). They took my phone number and told me they would call me as soon as they arrived. And they gave me all the info I needed to tell the shipper that she's totally entitled to a refund on the money back guarantee for priority express. Saturday rolls around (they were WAY late but not my post office's fault) and I got a call at 5am from Sophia telling me they arrived and that I could come get them at the back door even though they were closed! While I'm not exactly happy with the USPS in general because they were 4 days late (thankfully the majority survived), I could not have been happier with the service at this post office.

Some locations will allow you to exchange for equal value, but because the forever stamps have changed value you will not receive cash.
