Loved the camp host. Super friendly and knowledgeable. I must say they have the cleanest outdoor bathrooms I have ever seen.

We just stopped for a break. But a beautiful and peaceful place.

Awesome spot in the Gallatin River corridor. There are many other National Forest Service campgrounds but this was my favorite. Very clean vault toilets, impeccably groomed, half of the campsites are electric the other half primitive. Fill up with water before you get to your site it is better than any Spring water you can buy in a store. Take some with you for good memories. Tell Gwendolyn I said hello she was the best campground host ever! I have never been to a campground more organized that greeted you upon arrival and even gave your dog treats. Gwendolyn told me if you find any hidden gems in the caves or natural beauty along the paths, make sure you leave it for others to enjoy. The water is shallow but cold and the fishing is excellent!

Very nice campground. Sites close to the river with plenty of spacing between campers. Electric only or nothing. Lots of restrooms available. Wonderful place to begin hiking from.
