Our experience at Apple Valley was awesome. Very nice and polite staff. My 2 children and I all seen Dr. Ward. He is awesome. He took the time to put my children at ease. They went from being terrified to looking forward to there next exam. I highly recommend Dr. Ward and Apple Valley Eye Center.

I like Dr Larson. He is awesome. The staff is competent and friendly EXCEPT when I asked for a contact fitting and declined to purchase contacts from them. They handed me a bill for 494.00 when I came out of my appointment. I asked what it was for. They said for your contacts. I said I don't think I will get them here, thank you. That's when I got the worst attitude from the person helping me. She said, "Well, then you have to pay $125 instead of $100. I said that was fine. I mean $125 instead of almost 500? Bargain! The thing is I don't think they were paying attention. I use 1 contact at a time. And I don't wear them daily. They were trying to sell me a 5 year supply! When I called back after the trial period and said please mail me the prescription the office person was unforgivably rude. This office needs a customer service tune up. Im very disappointed in the service.

All the staff at Apple Valley Eye Center were professional, friendly & caring. All my questions & concerns were answered. They have a great selection of eye glasses to choose from & I can stop by anytime I need them adjusted. I highly recommend you take your vision needs to them.

Professionalism is top priority plus congeniality to a customer. Waiting times are not usually lengthy and each staff met with offers basic information. I like the convenience of them faxing prescriptions and comparing efficacy of eye drops, etc. They are ready to serve and I have always received great treatment including calls to remind me of my appointments.

For an exam you need an appointment to see the doctor. If you want to just look at glasses you can just walk in .
Most of the Medicaid plans are accepted, but unfortunately not all of them. To verify if your plan is one that is accepted you will need to call the office to confirm.
