OMG! I thought my experience was an isolated incident. I am shocked to see how many people have trouble with Spirit. 1st.. Brian Torres' positi e review is probably fake. 2nd ... my own experience was a missed connecting flight to Chicago. Which cost me hundreds in car rental fees that the car rental agency didn't charge but the travel agent refused to refund. To the diverted flight to Milwaukee because Spirit claimed bad weather caused the delay. But the weather in San Diego AND Las Vegas was clear. (Weather is one of the reason airlines use to release liability with travel issues) apparently they use weather as a bad excuse. It turned my vacation into a mess. And then to read Cole Tab's and Daniel Hongs reviews. Oh man oh man... I would have gone to jail for knocking some dip wad out if I had gone through what you endured. Bottom line? I will DRIVE to Chicago from San Diego before I EVER fly Spirit again. These people make a soup sandwich look organized!

After a tough year as an average American navigating the new landscape that is COVID-19, I decided to treat my wife to a romantic trip to California for Valentine’s Day. Neither of us have been to California and we were excited to forget the problems that us and many Americans deal with on a daily basis, and just live the California dream for a week. Thinking I could save a few more dollars on the flight and spoil my wife a little more on Valentine’s Day I went with spirit. Little did I know spirit stands for crush your spirit in every way possible. As we flew from Pittsburgh to California unbeknownst to me my luggage did not do the same. At first I was forgiving, accidents happen and this has probably happened to many people but that forgiving attitude my parents spent a lifetime instilling in me was ripped to shreds in an instant by the customer service at spirit. After spending my first day in California on the phone all day with customer service I realized their employees aren’t bad at everything, they are pretty good stand up comedians as every one of them gave me their tight five on how funny it was we didn’t have our luggage. We finally reached a resolution through the laughs of our demise when a customer service rep said they would deliver our suitcase to our hotel Valentine’s Day night after waiting for two days. We get a call in the middle of our Valentine’s Day dinner to be notified they will not drop off our suitcase and that we would have to drive to the airport, cut our dinner short, and get our luggage. As I am sitting in my rental car now writing this review, scratching my arm due to the terrible sweater I was forced to buy for not having any of my clothes, I have no other option to cut my review short. Sadly as a flashlight is making its way into my eyes I realize where spirit told us to park and pick up our bags is a no stop zone so I have to drive to the other side of the airport and walk to get my bags. At least I brought my hiking boots oh wait those are also in my bag. Thanks Spirit!

I'm NEVER flying with this airline again!!! I arrived at the airport for my return flight in PLENTY of time to make it through security (not to mention I have TSA) and they refused to print my boarding pass and had me purchase the next flight. The next flight wasn't departing for 9 hours and my friends had left already, so I called customer service and pleaded for a refund. They agreed and I booked a return flight with another airline. The following week, still no refund. I contacted them and they said I showed as a "no show" and "forfeited" my ticket and was told to contact their corporate office via email if I wanted a refund! I emailed them and explained everything and they agreed that I was lied to and gave me a refund. A week later, I have a charge of $10 to my account!!!! They're continuing to use my card information. They are the WORST airline and customer service I have EVER dealt with. I will NEVER book a flight with them again and I will continue to tell everyone I know to avoid them. With their customer service, they won't be in business long-term.

Do you get mad when you're sitting like your in mothers womb for six hours because you don't want to pay any more money and the plane is barely half full

All the seats are too small.

How would you like to fill like you were in your mother's womb six hours on Sprint's plane because their seats oh so close together and the plane is half empty and they have plenty of seats with more room but they don't you didn't pay 18 dollars

I think Spirit Airlines does not care about their customers all they care about is the money and all they're worried about is there a bottom line and how much they make by ripping their passengers I'm surprised that they didn't find a way the charging for the air that you breathe while you're on the airplane a short trip from San Diego to Las Vegas they were 45 minutes late I thought we were going to take a tour of the whole Runway before the pilot finally. The plane in the air what a joke by the time you get done paying for all the additional charges you can't even afford to buy water on the trip while you're on the plane and I'm surprised that they don't charge you for the air you breathe

What kind of Airline charges you zero for a carry-on bag in San Diego and then when you get to a layover in Las Vegas and they're responsible for the layover charges you 65dollars for the same bad with the same Airlines what a rip off

Only a personal item is free. Spirit charges for a carry on bag. It sounds like they missed the charge in San Diego and picked it up in Las Vegas.

Do you Fair for an airline light Sprint to charge you $65 for a carry-on bag no bigger than a lunch pail and while they're doing it that little bit smile on their face nothing makes me more mad then someone taking advantage of people

If it is that small it is considered a personal item to be be stowed under the seat and there is no charge.
