Amazing place and Buffalo! Too far away for pictures but I enjoyed this area and all the open space here

Took kids ages 2-14 there. The 0.3 mile trail to Lindenmeier Overlook was just the right length for the small ones, and they liked climbing on the stone walls at the overlook. Same for the picnic area. Wish I had time to run on some of the longer trails.

Beautiful open space! Free and there are bathrooms. There information about the area as well as the trails. No dogs allowed. Pretty overlook with a wheelchair and stroller friendly path. Easy hike. We saw a rabbit, deer and cows on our way in. Gravel road and it was very windy during my visit. Very nice place to visit!

Amazing park so far remote that we began wondering if we were actually on the right road. Prairie as far as the eye goes, simply beautiful. Unfortunately we didn't get to see any buffalo, but still were able to feast our eyes on the impressive landscape. It's a long drive but worth it. Toilets were surprisingly clean for a place this far from civilization.
