I went early on a Saturday morning and Dr.Ruiz took care of me. She was so compassionate and empathetic which really helped being that I was feeling awful from the flu. There were several other staff that were great and patient with me considering I could barely speak from the pain in my throat. I arrived at 9 and left just before 10:30 which was quick. I have several family members that have gone here for urgent care and they only have great things to say about the staff and the cleanliness of the urgent care.

Very clean, organized and friendly, from the ones that great you when you come in, the nurses the assistant nurses and I was very pleased with registration they do it virtually no paper work fast and efficient and of course the Doctor. I was in and out in about one and half hour give or take. They have evaluate the patients as they come in to prioritize the more emergent ones. I was sitting near the desk and was able to observe more closely . Excellent

The only thing great about this hospital was the wait time and the way these nurses treat you. They treat you with such care and kindness. These ladies are the future of the medical field. God bless them! The doctor on the other hand was very unprofessional, he just wanted me to go home when I was clearly in a bad state from covid, it took me all day to gain strength to be able to get up from bed and go to this urgent. He prescribed no medicine, and told me “you should be fine by tomorrow.” I wasn’t… I used to be asthmatic and prone to bronchitis as a kid. I woke up the next morning with fever, awful cough, blood in my phlegm, still had body aches, dizziness, was vomiting and still had headaches. I even fainted last night, something that has never happened to me. I was worse off yesterday than my Wednesday visit. Such carelessness should never be taken lightly, whomever gave that man his license needs a reevaluation. I feel so bad but I’m also so angry I just want my voice heard! Also, the department of health called me and the agent treated me better than “a doctor.” That definitely says something!

The service I received was excellent. There is an staff with high level of professionalism. As soon as I cross the door I felt a great atmosphere. Nice, quiet. All personal, from the reception to the doctors were very nice and they solve the problem on my ear quickly. I recommend Baptist Health Urgent Care of Miami Lakes highly. Thanks for your support.
