Went from 5 stars to 2 for me. Had an appointment at 1 so I called at noon to confirm and was told they'd see me soon. When I arrived 10 minutes early, my barber wasn't there and I was told at 1 that my barber wasn't going to make it and naturally, I was upset but we rescheduled and I showed up the next day only to be rushed out of the chair as soon as he finished cleaning my neck. I didn't get a mirror check or asked for product. I was told, "You're finished," as he sat his next client down while I was trying to look in the mirror of my cut. No after shave was applied. Fade was decent but there are a few noticeable mistakes that shouldn't be noticeable when you're paying 40 bucks for a cut.. No one should have to deal with being canceled on at the time of the appointment. I get that life happens but there should be a courtesy call in a decent amount of time. Plus the treatment after the fact, smh, last visit from me for sure..

Bad, just really bad I asked for a drop mid fade and it looks like he just shaved the sides it looks really unprofessional and bad, overall he was asking other people there if it looked good!!! Who does that??? Never coming back there!!! I have pictures for something the next day after the hair cut and now I have to go with a messed up hair cut!!

I have been getting my haircut from Alvaro for more than 2 years. He has always been welcoming and professional. Explain what you have in your mind to him and he will work with you. The only thing to make sure is to set up an appointment instead of doing a walk-in. I only know Alvaro's service but the other employees were friendly to their clients and the place in general is a comfortable environment. The location on 407 W Nob Hill Blvd is clean and spacious. It has more convenient parking space than the previous location.
