Fun course some challenging hole's. Great staff and it's affordable to golf.
It has been sold but there were artifacts found when it was first built. They are all housed at Augusta College. There are also known burial mounds out there. Rather than develop more houses out there which was a plan it was offered to be bought to ensure no more development on what could be ground filled with artifacts. Was a 10 year deal that when finished will be turned over to the park system. There are no known plans for the land yet but more than likely the golf course will close at that time. They could also choose to operate the golf course but that doesn't seem likely.
