Short: All sales are final, including defective products. If the product you buy is defective, they will not exchange or refund you. Story: My wife and I are learning tango for our wedding dance, so our dance teacher recommended my wife to get tango shoes at this place. 5 minutes into the first class with the new heels and a part of one of the heels broke into 3 pieces. I brought the heels in for a replacement or a refund and was told all sales are final, but the lady there recommended us to go to a nearby a shoe repair shop, and said it would probably cost $5 to fix it and gave us a $10 credit back to our credit card. It ended up costing $20, and the guy at the shoe repair place felt insulted that someone referred us to him saying that his service was worth $5. What a day! Amazon has better customer service - at least they make it right when their product is defective. We will let our dance instructor know about this so she would refer her students elsewhere. Sorry to do have to leave you this comment, but it's really not a good way to do business.

We frequent Dancers Barre for all of my daughter's dancewear. The selection of shoes and clothing is deceptively extensive. The owner is very helpful and friendly. The bonus of making my purchases here is supporting a local small business. I will continue to patronize this neighborhood gem.

I came here knowing what I wanted but with no idea of what sizes I needed since it’s been a long time since I’ve danced! The owner quickly looked at me and knew my size perfectly! She let me try on ballet shoes and leotards, all while following COVID-19 guidelines. She was so helpful and made this a stress-free experience!!

Excellent store! The staff members were very kind and she was very patient with the pointe shoe fitting. The price is good too!
