Had a great ride here. Lots of scenic views on the way up. Once you’re up in the pine trees it gets even more beautiful. Well worth the time and effort to get here. Will do this trail again up to the lake

Pretty cool trail not too hard to do. I still recommend 4x4 or AWD and high clearance. The trail is very popular so make sure you take your time lots of people try to rush on bikes and side by side so stay alert on the switchbacks. You can take this trail then take a right and you will finish in Idyllwild. The total time is about 1.5 to 2 hrs depending on how long you stop. To me the highlight is the creek which we explored a bit that was a lot of fun.

WOW! 😜 I took a ride on this road on my dirtbike and had to go back down. Next time I'll have to be in a 4x4 for sure!🀣

Questions & Answers

Used to be able to pop off a few rounds from firearms. Are we still able to do that?

Traveling here for the first time, is there room for staging a trailer? Where is that located? I don't see a clear lot or area on the sat map.

At the entrance there is plenty of space bit it's limited.

Are dog's allowed?

Yes, but with the number of off roaders, and in the lower parts the shooting ranges, it is best to keep them on leash.
