This is a beautiful place even in the winter. Staff was very very nice and accommodations were perfect. Might try and stay in the summer.

A group of us has been going to Campfire Bay Resort for a girls weekend/craft retreat twice every year for nearly 15 years. The Sams family is incredibly nice and try to accommodate you however they can, they're always working on improving the resort. There's plenty of space and full kitchens in each unit. The lake is beautiful. We always utilize the massage therapist on site, just make sure to plan ahead, they're often fully booked.

Stopped by this place for coffee after dinner and looking around for potential future vacation spots. We walked the gift shop and talked with some of the staff who made us a wonderful Americano while we perused the merchandise. Was a charming little spot that had useful variety of sweaters and necessities while on the water. Outside the staff seemed to help with activities planned for the guests. Grounds were well maintained and seemed to be taken well care of. Will be considered for a stay on our next swing through town!

They do it right! Everytime we stay it gets better and better! The views from the older small cabins on the shore are beautiful! Hopefully they slowly get updated someday. The newer cabins are amazing. We rented a total of 7 cabins between all are families for a reunion and it was a blast and full of lasting memories by all the things they have to offer. No one would be disappointed even if the weather doesn't cooperate. Love this place!
