Pleasant camping experience- friendly hosts. Was quiet and relaxing. Pay showers, but they were great. Would definitely visit again. Rode bikes into town and around local biking trails.

We have both camped and worked part-time for this campground. You should be aware that there are some serious electrical issues (no breakers, ground issues) so make sure you have a surge or electrical protection setup. Owner has a son that provides very limited help, knowledge and just doesn't really like campers too much in my opinion. This is a very old campground and designed for small campers. Final thing to be aware of is that water odor can be an issue depending on what site you get. Is there such a thing as "harmless" bacteria? The seasonal renters pretty much all have huge filters to remove sand, odor and improve taste. Google Patricia Lake, Arbor Vitae and Holiday campgrounds for camping options.

Nice campground at Foxfire always have a nice weekend here. My friends camped this weekend but I just went up for a day of fishing. Beautiful little lake lots of bass and pan fish to catch in this lake.

We love this campground. The sites on the small lake are very peaceful. You can relax on a floaty on the lake and not worry about boats. As for the fitness center there was not as much traffic as the review before this. The only downfall is the sand, but your in the north woods you have to expected this. Love this place will be back!!
