The room's are really clean and big. My only concern is the service in the bar and restaurant was lacking. With 3 bartenders and our glasses sat empty for over an half an hour while they all stood at the end of the bar visiting instead of watching the bar other than that everything was great. Very good food.

I woke up in the morning to find a typed note in large print that read “NO ATV/UTV TO PARK UP BY THE BUILDING” inside my UTV. I felt discriminated against. I paid full price for my room, just like the people there in their cars and trucks. I also had luggage to carry inside. What makes people in cars and trucks money better than mine? Total discrimination. I spent money in their bar/restaurant just like many others. Recreation is a big part of this businesses income, yet we can’t park by the building. Not to mention they had vacancies available and there were plenty of empty parking spots. Maybe The Great Northern Hotel is not a place our ATV club should stay at anymore.

This place is not a great option unless you want a party. I stayed recently and the noise was incredible, not dying down until well after midnight. No options offered from the front desk. Bring earplugs.

I had a family emergency had to depart early and of course no partial refund and Cindy is kind of rude. Not the most personable front desk manager I have ever met. Room 240 beds were absolutely horrible. I'm pretty sure they were outdated by 10 yrs. Glad I had to depart early. Don't get me wrong not a bad place just take care of your guests.
