Often staying at motel involves adjusting one’s expectations. Know it’s not a big chain motel. Embrace the uniqueness. Traveling from a half day away we picked Timber Inn blindly off a map. The location and price were right. Called and spoke to the owner. He seemed nice enough so we “went for it.” No regrets. Comfortable room, hot shower, coffee and a bagel for $77 out the door. We felt good helping this couple make a go with the motel. Best of luck to them. Rooms looked just like all the other photos. As I write, it’s a cool mid July morning with fog on the lake.

Good, quick service. Nice room with patio with table and chairs. Patio door was hard to open. Room was clean. You can see the lake across the road. I'd stay again.

Great hotel. The room looked and smelled clean, everything was in good working order, the towels were fresh, the carpet clean. I booked a room with lake view which was great to relax at in after a long day!

Positive: The bed was comfy. Negative: The hotel receptionist couldn't help us when I asked where we could eat. Our room was making strange noises all night - maybe from the furnance - not sure.
